‘I really want to go back to Barcelona’ Messi

Lionel Messi, the iconic figure who has captivated a generation and made a huge impact on the global football stage, announced on Wednesday that the next destination of his illustrious career will be the United States.
Lionel Messi to Inter Miami
In interviews with two Spanish sports news outlets, Messi confirmed his intention to sign with David Beckham’s co-owned MLS Inter Miami. Messi turned down the opportunity, even though he was offered the chance to play in Saudi Arabia, where he received financial support to boost tourism and the kingdom’s national league aspirations.
“I’ve decided to go to Miami,” Messi told “Sport” and “World Sports Daily”. “While it has not been fully finalized, there are still some details that need to be sorted out. However, we have chosen to continue this path.”
In a statement, MLS acknowledged Lionel Messi’s decision, expressing anticipation and excitement for one of the greatest footballers of all time to come to their league. However, the league clarified that no deal was finalized at the time. Interestingly, the league’s social media channels adopted a more explicit tone, with the official MLS account boldly announcing Messi’s imminent arrival.
Why did the Argentinian goat choose to join Inter Miami instead of Barcelona?
“I really want to go back to Barca; I have that dream,’ said Messi, Fabrizio Romano. “But after what happened two years ago, I don’t want to be in the same situation again and hand over my future to someone else…I want to make my own decisions, with me and my family in mind.
“I heard reports about La Liga being given the green light, but the truth is that there are many, many things that have not been done in order for me to return to Barcelona,” he said. Messi continued. “I don’t want to be responsible for them selling players or cutting wages. I’m tired.
The former PSG star is widely regarded as one of the best footballers in the world and has several options when it comes to picking his next club. Although a return to Barcelona seemed like a likely outcome, Messi ultimately decided to embrace the change. In addition, there were rumors that he would move to Saudi Arabia, but in the end he chose to join Inter Miami for the opportunity to play in MLS.
Initially, when news of Messi’s move to Inter Miami surfaced, fans were skeptical until it was officially confirmed. However, Messi recently confirmed his move to the club, reiterating all doubts and cementing his decision.
