Once the application window closes, a shortlist of two current FAB members, an Everton FC representative, a local religious leader and a local politician or business leader will review nominations before finalizing the shortlist.

Online supporter voting will begin Monday, June 19th and run through Friday, June 30th, and the FAB will be looking to fill the following three positions:

• An Evertonian who is a registered member of the Football Supporters Association (FSA)
• An Evertonian representing a group with a protected characteristic as defined in the Equality Act 2010
• An Evertonian with no further eligibility requirements

The shortlisting process is designed to ensure that multiple candidates on the final ballot list meet each of the above criteria.

Anyone with an Everton supporter number will be eligible to vote by 1 May 2023 and will be asked to choose their favorite three candidates. Each vote is equally weighted, and supporters can assign up to one vote to each candidate. More information on the voting process will be announced closer to the election.

After voting, the results will be independently verified by the Football Supporters Association before being published on the Everton and FAB channels.
