Arsenal interested in signing Kylian Mbappe

Arsenal are reportedly planning to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe in 2024.
The online news portal claims the Gunners are big admirers of Mbappe and are considering sending a proposal to the Frenchman’s representatives to see if they can secure a big win next year.
Mbappe has just one year left on his current contract at Paris Saint-Germain and has informed the club that he will not renew. The situation has alarmed several of Europe’s top clubs, with Arsenal recently thought to be interested.
football transfer Mbappe is expected to join Real Madrid, but the Spanish giants will only make an offer this summer if Paris Saint-Germain lower their asking price for the superstar striker.
The situation opens the door for the likes of Arsenal to sign Mbappe in 2024, while Premier League clubs also have the financial muscle to compete with the likes of Madrid on wages.
However, if the 24-year-old does not renew, PSG may try to sell him this summer rather than risk losing him for nothing within 12 months.

Arsenal are also working on deals for Ajax defender Julien Timber and Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia. If all these deals are completed, the club’s summer spend will be well over £250m, so it is unlikely the Gunners will have funds left over to buy Mbappe this summer.
The France international is one of the most sought-after strikers in the world, having shown incredible goalscoring prowess in Ligue 1, the Champions League and the World Cup over the past few seasons.
